Zanzibar is an island that is in the Indian Ocean. To get here, you have to travel for 36 km off the Tanzanian coastline. These islands are surrounded by some other 50 smaller islands, which together form an archipelago with the name Zanzibar. The beautiful sand beaches are always lit by a tropical climate that contrasts very sharply to temperate climate patterns. The reefs are excellent and deep-sea fishing is a very common activity among tourists. Also, be prepared to participate in different water sport activities, including diving and snorkeling.

Another important highlight of Zanzibar is the Stone Town whose streets are narrow and winding. The markets are always vibrant and vivid. People with a soft spot for culture have a good reason to come to Zanzibar: colorful bazaars. Zanzibar is popularly known the world over as “Spice Island”. The spices to find here include nutmeg, pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves among many others.
