Six Flags park is rated as the world’s biggest amusement park. It was founded in 1961 with its headquarters in New York, New York City. The parks serve Canada, Mexico and the USA.

The name Six Flags originate from the six members states namely:
1.Spain
2.France
3.Mexico
4.The Republic of Texas
5.The Confederate States of America
6.The United States of America

Despite the success of the company, it has faced several challenges in the past like bankruptcy, loss of money in the Sell-off of assets and shareholder revolt. It however still owns several properties today.

All these properties are under one name “SIX FLAGS”. The company has also bought several properties in the past like in June 2007, 40% of Dick Clark Productions.
