Asia is the cradle of civilization. If there is one continent that has nurtured early religion then that will be by far Asia. Particularly the Himalayan belt along with the Indian Subcontinent has always been considered the abode f peace and spirituality. At one point of time this was an important sea port. Now it is a refuge from the main city. Janiculum Hill and the Lake Bracciano are two other sites that are worth a visit when here in Italy, the land of pure pleasure.
